竹縣：工業研究院開發的LED可見光通訊技術，將可見光通訊模組裝置在LED燈具上，透過照明的光，以提供觀看高畫質影片等寬頻上網的服務，使得LED燈具兼具節能照明與智慧通訊的特色，提供室內導航、服務人員位置管理、與手機結合達到賣場定位服務等商業應用。
