，到時會被留下來的紙本書，勢必是裝幀製作精緻，和內容值得一讀再讀的書。」傅月庵說，因此他秉持「小農」精神，回歸原始手工、不求大量快速，自喻編輯如「掃葉」：「掃完一頁，還有一頁；掃完一本，又來一本，一如推著石頭上山的薛西佛斯。」55歲的傅月庵曾任遠流出版社總編輯、茉莉二手書店執行總監，去年9月離職後，與出版界好友沈雲驄在閒談中談出了「掃葉工房」雛形，由沈雲驄出資、傅月庵一人擔綱編輯，一季出一本慢工出版，預計5月推出已逝詩人周夢蝶的精選集《夢蝶草》。選擇以雷驤作為創社作，可謂「匠人精神」彼此相稱。76歲的雷驤身兼作家、畫家、電影編導等身分，自1967年發表小說《犬》至今47年，共出版35本書。傅月庵重新讀完這35本、約300萬字作品，編選出約30萬字《人間自若》2冊，分春明、夏影、秋光、冬晴4章，不依年代排序，也打破小說、散文分類。全書講究裝幀設計，從封面、版型、紙張到書盒等都細緻考量，3月6日開放訂購至4月15日止，限量一版一刷、告罄即不再印，書籍無ISBN，每套編號並附雷驤版畫作品典藏卡。除了慢工精緻，《人間自若》更大膽放棄書店通路，一律「網路直售，貨到付款」，書店若想販售得循訂書管道採購買斷。傅月庵表示由於本書製作成本高，不想被強勢書店的折讓削價、或因退書損傷書籍品質，也趁此實驗出版與通路的新可能。，
