，吸引不少學生觀禮，爭相拔智慧毛，祈求學業進步，考運順利。文昌祠是縣定古蹟，除了農曆大年初一、春祭、秋祭之外，平常甚少開中門，只有通過高考或是取得博士學位者，才能開中門祭聖；文昌祠在清朝光緒年間興建，廟內供奉文昌帝君、倉頡、韓愈，曾是初設苗栗縣時的臨時衙署，是苗栗縣行政發祥地，亦是古時的英才書院。恰好春祭與文昌帝君聖誕同日，文昌祠邀請苗栗國中、明仁國中、文山國小、僑育國小及志工服務協進會等，為祭典暖場。主祭官在鐘鼓齊鳴及客家八音的吹奏中，開啟中門，並依循古禮進行三獻禮祭祀。觀禮儀式結束後，學生、家長、老師等紛紛上前拔取豬、羊的「智慧毛」，祈求增長智慧，現場也有家長準備蔥、芹菜等祭拜，保佑孩子聰明、勤奮向學，光耀門楣。徐耀昌表示，透過文昌祠的春、秋祭典，讓年輕一代認識、了解三獻古禮傳統祭典儀式，並傳承、發揚客家地區優良文風，奮發向學，努力讀書，將來個個出人頭地，為國家、社會、家鄉貢獻所學。，

「連消防栓的水也能直接喝？！」北市推廣自來水直飲，昨率先在饒河夜市舉辦體驗活動，試喝的民眾起初心存懷疑，但飲用後覺得比想像中好喝，也沒有「氯味」，顛覆不少人的刻板印象。經長期努力，汰換自來水管線，北市家戶自來水幾乎都可以直飲，但還是有很多人不敢嘗試。

台北市自來水事業處副處長陳曼莉昨天表示，一個進步的城市，水要能直接喝；因此，為讓市民知道自來水可以直飲，打破大家的觀念，直接邀民眾喝看看消防栓的水。為讓台北人喝得安心，北市自來水處近來大規模抽驗全市各處自來水的水質，從目前抽驗7200戶的結果來看，合乎「飲用水質標準」者高達99.9％。更出乎一般人意料的是，包括30年以上的老舊公寓、外觀破損的大樓，裏頭水龍頭所流出來的自來水，也完全不需經過煮沸程序，就能安心直接飲用。為讓調查數據更可靠，目標是今年底完成1萬6000戶的水質抽測。陳曼莉說，北市自來水質前流程水質檢測項目包含漂浮物、農藥、大腸桿菌等共135項，早就符合飲用水質標準，自來水從翡翠水庫流出，經淨水廠至各管線都全程監控。至於不合格者，大多為自來水太久沒使用滯留，或用戶用水設備維護不當所致，陳曼莉說，只要每年清洗1至2次水塔，就可放心打開家裡水龍頭直飲自來水。北市自來水事業處處長陳錦祥則說，由於北市自來水大都可安心直飲，因此，民眾若能省去煮沸程序，對節能減碳也是一大益處。為推廣「自來水直飲」，17日起至8月15日，每周末下午5點至10點，北水處將在饒河夜市、寧夏夜市、士林夜市及西門徒步區、永康商圈設置創意造型親子式直飲台供遊客飲用。鄧姓市民昨帶著小孩逛夜市，看見北水處從消防栓接水出來供大家飲用，他懷疑了一會，覺得新奇，試飲後沒有氯氣味道，挺好喝的，但怕出水口有灰塵，先按一下，讓水流出來一些再喝，可省去飲料錢。(中國時報)，
